Allow me to tell you a little story. I was very excited to do this request, because orange is my favorite color. However, as I check Bulbapedia’s color listings, I see that there is no orange listing! Instead, they just threw all the “orange” Pokemon into either the red, yellow, or brown groups. Broken-hearted, I reluctantly gather sprites for all 61 yellow Pokemon and begin working. However, this gargantuan number of Pokemon was difficult to work on, so about halfway through, I decide to give all of you a sneak peek and show you what I’m dealing with. So, I black out the sprite to give it a little “Who’s That Pokemon” vibe. And I accidentally saved it over the actual copy. Splice: Ruined.

So, after much frustrated thinking, I decided to screw the rules and splice all of the orange Pokemon. So I went through all 649 Pokemon and pull out all the ones I think deserve to be called orange. This is what I get:

Rule #1 of splicing: Any time you think “Oh, nothing creepy could possibly come out of this splice!” you’ll get something creepy. Case in point.
